Closing off on 2024, Updates, Plans and Initiatives for 2025!

Hello, everyone! Thanks so much for sticking by Savline! We've now closed the page on 2024, and as we're preparing for 2025, we're gonna be making some changes so we can be the best community we can be! This announcement post outlines our plans and our agenda for the year 2025!


What's going on with Savline RP MTA:SA?

A fair question that I'm sure you want answered. As you'd have seen from Badandy's announcement, he opted to start prioritizing his life and the things that are near and dear to him. We saw this coming and we understand completely - we appreciate why he's made the call. However, awesome news, Badandy will in fact be staying on, just not in a server leadership capacity! We are nowhere near dead. MTA's simply been pushed back a bit.

So what's next? In a pleasant update, Pascal and Fabulosu have joined our team as developers, and will be continuing on from where we left off!


2025 Team Positions Open!

As we enter 2025, we seek to grow our teams and bring more amazing people on board! We are looking for server staff, developers, modellers and mappers for all Savline servers!

We are also after people for our Communications and PR Team, primarily responsible for handling socials, marketing and other promotional material!

We've been somewhat sporadic and disorganized internally. But the organizational side of things is getting sorted out. And that's the purpose of this announcement too.


Staff Promotions and Reinstatements

Joaoadao has been promoted to Community Leader, assisting with Technical and Hosting! As a long-time veteran of Savline Roleplay, who's been with us since I took over alongside Ragnarok, this bloke has been a great help with server hosting, and other technical issues. Congratulations!

On the MTA:SA front, for those not aware, Yazan is MTA:SA RP Leader and with Mike as Manager, there'll be people available to get things done on this platform.

Mike is also currently assisting BuilderDemo7 as interim VC:MP RP Leader as we get the Vice City server going again, fixing the broken economy and many of the oversights from the previous developer. Things are looking up.

Former MTA:SA RP Leader Lambs has returned to the team, helping us work on Savline - Codename: NSW and bringing the project to life on FiveM! He'll also be around to assist with MTA on occasion too!

Pascal and Fabulosu have joined the MTA:SA dev team, and will be picking up where we left off! And with Badandy returning in a slightly less demanding role, we're back, baby!


What's happening with Savline Network?

It still exists, but the wider Savline Network and other upcoming Savline communities (i.e. Savline Desolation will have their own Discords. That said, there'll still be updates from Savline Network in all Savline Discords. The main Discord is back to Savline Roleplay.


What's happening with Savline VC:MP?

We're working on gameplay quality fixes, mapping updates and other quality of service issues so we can have the server ready to go for a proper roleplay experience.
