Everything You Need to Know About Obtaining Your Driving License

Getting Started

If you're new to Savline Roleplay, obtaining a driving license is one of the first steps towards becoming a legal driver in Los Santos.

To begin your examinations, visit the DMV Office located at the Conference Center, Market, Los Santos.

You can easily locate the DMV by looking for the "S" marker on your map/minimap.

Once you arrive, click on the DMV NPC to begin your examinations.


Available Licenses

The DMV currently offers three types of licenses:

• Car License
• Boat License
• Bike License

Car License Examination

To obtain your Car License, you must successfully complete two examinations:

• Theory Test
• Practical Driving Test

You must pass the Theory Test before you can proceed to the Practical Test.


Theory Test

The Theory Test consists of a series of questions based on basic driving knowledge and road safety.

Test Information:

• You will be given 7 questions.
• Choose the correct answer for each question.
• A minimum score of 80% is required to pass.

Passing Requirement:

6 out of 7 questions must be answered correctly.

If you pass, you will automatically be directed to the Practical Driving Test.

If you fail, you may retake the examination.


Practical Driving Test

After passing the Theory Test, proceed outside the DMV building.

Step 1: Locate the DMV Exam Vehicle

Find one of the vehicles marked:

The examination vehicle is a White Manana.

Step 2: Start the Examination

• Enter the DMV Exam Vehicle.
• Drive to the green checkpoint.
• Enter the checkpoint to begin the test.

Step 3: Follow the Route

You will be required to drive through a series of checkpoints marked in pink.

Make sure to:

• Drive carefully.
• Follow the checkpoint route correctly.
• Avoid collisions.
• Avoid damaging the vehicle.

Important:

Excessive vehicle damage may result in a failed examination.

Step 4: Complete the Test

After completing all checkpoints and returning to the DMV, the system will automatically evaluate your performance and notify you whether you have passed or failed.


Receiving Your License

If you successfully pass the Practical Test:

✓ You will automatically receive a Car License.

You can find your license by opening:

I → Wallet → Car License

Failed the Exam?

Don't worry!

If you fail either the Theory Test or the Practical Driving Test, you can return to the DMV and retake the examinations at any time.
