The Idlewood Neighborhood Bloods are a connection of various street gangs that are mainly African American located mainly in Idlewood in South, Los Santos. The territory of the collective is mainly consisting of Mason street all the way around the block to the Washington street. Members are usually consisting of African-American teens in their early 20's being involved with the violent life-style on the streets out there, exposed to drugs and illegal activities that has heavily influenced the local culture. The 'big homies' of the connection are usually the ones that have been around for years now, mostly the criminals that have served time inside the jail and then continued their former life-style. Some are even respect by the local community as they've earned their respect in that area.

The origins of the gang goes back all the way to 1980's when the remaining members of the 106th Street Bloods merged their power with Neighborhood Bloods based on Idlewood. After the '83 Police raids taking part in the area, about half of the adult members were taken to the prisons. Some not getting released only until decades later. The structure of the gang lived on through Drug trafficking, arms dealing and prostitution. With the numbers of crimes being committed in the area being drastically increased since then. To this day this criminal entity is one of the most influential voices of the local community in Idlewood, as the number of the members and the younger generation being involved with them is increasing.

November 2005, members of the Idlewood Neighborhood Bloods being the main suspects during a felony stop. Shortly after a shootout taking place around the Idlewood area, specifically the Mason Street. The suspects' brown Chevy was spotted on a surveillance camera leaving the crime scene. This section of South LS is known for its high numbers of shootings. According to an official report issued by the LSPD, this incident came down as a result of the retaliatory shootings by the Neighborhood Crips gang from days before, response this then given by the Neighborhood Bloods. The Department has issued an internal order for increasing the presence of tactically trained Metro officers along with the gang unit.

The area that this gang surrounds themselves with is fully of poverty, gang activity, drug addicts, and police brutality making them take these things to their advantage. Making them ways to make money, and bring power to their various street front sets. A vast number of the gangs ongoing wars kicked off from the school yards. One small exchange blown up and knocked way out of proportion. Teens from the projects would get into it with teens from other areas, mainly Crenshaw High School, both trying to represent their neighborhood and stand their ground, neither side willing to back down and things escalate beyond what is ever necessary. This makes the Idlewood Neighborhood Bloods dangerous in these situations and that's how recruitments come into play. They expanded their criminal empire far beyond Idlewood and made their sets one of the most feared gangs in Idlewood making them superior in their area.
