About the White House Briefing Room

As per the President of the United States, the White House Briefing Room will be primarily run by the White House Press Secretary. The Secretary is responsible for the facilitation and supervision of official communication with the public, between government departments and other organizations, to gather and transfer information to the Office of the President, the federal government and White House officials.

Via the Briefing Room, the public can access information and public releases or otherwise public-facing briefings regarding the operations of the United States Government, the President of the United States and the White House.

Questions and inquiries may be addressed to the Office of the Secretary. This office is monitored and subject to federal oversight.
